Counselling For Relationship Issues
Difficult or broken relationships can leave you feeling emotionally drained and with a sense of loneliness. It's not always easy to talk about it with the people close to you.
As a counsellor, I work with individuals and couples. My professional training and personal experience combine to give you warm, non-judgemental and supportive therapy.
At the heart of my work is building a genuine connection with you so that you feel safe and free to open up.
The emphasis in our work will be helping you to identify and gain new awareness around your difficult issues, while supporting you emotionally to move forward and make positive changes in your life.
1 to 1 counselling
I support individuals dealing with relationship related issues, from any area or stage of their lives.
This might include:
- Support with the current relationships in your life
- Exploring of how past issues have impacted on current or previous close relationships
- Challenges with your ability to form new relationships
- Dealing with the emotions of break-up and divorce.
Relationship counselling provides a safe and neutral space to talk about your needs and to look openly at your relationship and its future.
We explore the issues you have brought and identify the patterns of your communication and behaviour within the relationship.
The emphasis of the work is around learning to build empathy and emotional connection so that you increase healthy interaction and deal with conflict more constructively.
How to work with me
Please note that, due to COVID-19 restrictions in face-to-face meetings, all of my counselling is currently run online via Zoom sessions.
£45 per hour long session for individual or couples counselling
I offer a free 15-20 minute Zoom call so that you can meet me, discuss suitability for online counselling and talk about how I can help you.
